Since the objects themselves are so nice to look at, the photos seem the correct route to pursue, though, I do like the idea of the watercolors. To make the watercolors work, though, they would need a lot of work and need to be gorgeous. For the photos, explore extreme close ups as well as group shots, with them in a line, or distributed. Really go crazy with the arrangement and angles.
