yes... and you are in a good position to do so - you've got a solid concept that communicates well. Plus your choice of image-making (simple, playful and silhouette) already has the bold immediacy that is needed for this type of poster project.
To "make it good" devote your time and energy on many type and composition iterations for the main info (especially that which is not in the black bar).
