Play Board Games from kate morr on Vimeo.

everything moving constantly... need breaks..
bring in rythm of activity.
type go by too fast......
busy type.

I am disappointed in my type, and I will resolve the issues.....
I planned on hand rendering all of the type, but I guess I got lazy...

First off I really like the optimistic music and imagery, it makes the presentation extremely fun! The information is impactful and interesting. The animation as a whole is very energetic and busy. I don't think that is a bad thing though, because it resonates nicely with the joyful nature of board games. The choice of music is nice to back up the joyful nature as well.

The typography does run by the viewer too quickly, nothing hard to fix! However the type in some places is extremely close to the border of the frame, and becomes uncomfortable. I like the integration with your type and image especially towards the end when "its fun" is on the card. The perspective of the type needs to stay consistent with the card though.

The title frame in the begginning is nice, the turquoise bar isn't lined up perfectly with the other bars. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but it is a little distracting.

I absolutely love the creativity and inventiveness of your imagery. The color is nice as well. I feel like the audience that this would really appeal too would be mothers and children. They would probably react enthusiastically, and would in turn play some board games!

Kate you have a great use of color and some nice transitions. There's great variety in the different games/boards and they tie in nicely with the facts. Overall I think this really works well.
Some areas I would tighten up on would be:
a. the speed of the way the text appears/dissappears
b. the sources at the end could stay up longer and maybe fade out
c. I feel it needs a more gentle ending, and that's maybe to do with the music cutting off and the short look at the citations
d. up front, I think you're main point this...
type needs help
e. I'm not so convinced on your choice of type overall, seems a little arbitrary.
