Look at the communication model as a whole. Let there be a moment where the viewer can take in the whole communication model at once.
I love the idea of the pull out book. I think it needs more behind it but I love the idea. It will make it fun and interesting, especially if you do different things on each page. Also, you will need to figure out a way to have people realize that it opens.
I love the idea of being able to hold the postcards and interact. Maybe putting some of your research and dialogue in there too, kind of to show how other designers communicate.

what other visuals besides postcards?
typography?
functionally?
additional touch base(interacting)?
just make it engaging in someway...
I know you are looking at some pull tabs and open flaps. Also think of other ways that can show information
